Job Description

Leading patient-centric support and technology provider for the biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries, Serva Health, is seeking a talented and experienced Reimbursement Specialist to join the team! For over a decade, Serva Health is a premier provider of innovative technology and patient-centric support to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries with an elite group of professionals that are smart, driven and passionate about making a difference. We are seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to add to grow expand our Patient Access Services (Hub Services) division for buy and bill pharma manufacturers and to support top-level executives in the company.
Responsibilities:
Determining insurance coverages, out of pockets and co-pays on behalf of patients Facilitating the prior authorization process Conducting the benefits investigation and benefits verification Identifying alternative funding research and conducting administrative tasks in support of the patient's enrollment into the program
Reimbursement Specialist Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited U.S. based institution a plus 1+ years of reimbursement experience working with insurance companies / payers (including buy and bill strongly preferred) Minimum 3+ preferred years of professional work experience exemplifying strong communication skills and administrative competency Ability to interpret, capture and document the details of insurance payer conversations, in a timely and efficient manner Strong computer skills with Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.), video conferencing software and data entry systems Excellent written and oral communication Must be a self-starter Must be comfortable working independently or as part of a team Strong interest in growing within an organization, potentially into a leadership opportunity Reimbursement experience within pharmaceuticals and/or specialty pharmacy
Preferred:
Experience with the prior authorization process Experience with Alternative Funding Research A Plus Experience with leading and training new team members Experience with Patient Assistance Program administration
