We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our HR team in Findlay, OH. This role is responsible for payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR analytics reporting for a multi-state workforce. You'll work closely with the Payroll Manager and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a great employee experience. What You'll Do Payroll Process weekly payroll for hourly employees and semi-monthly payroll for salaried employees Support payroll operations for a multi-state workforce , ensuring compliance with all regulations Maintain payroll records, reconcile discrepancies, and manage deductions (garnishments, taxes, etc.) Partner with the Payroll Manager on audits and year-end processes (W-2s, 1095-Cs) Benefits Administration Administer benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans Support open enrollment and employee benefit changes Assist employees with questions, enrollments, and claims issues Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and other regulations HR Analytics & Reporting Generate and analyze payroll and benefits data Build reports and dashboards (headcount, turnover, labor costs, utilization) Support budgeting and forecasting efforts Ensure data accuracy across HRIS systems What You Bring 2-5 years of payroll, benefits, or HR analytics experience Multi-state payroll experience required Experience with HRIS/payroll systems ( Paycor strongly preferred ) Strong Excel and data analysis skills High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience) Ability to work extended hours as needed during payroll cycles and open enrollment Why Join Us Collaborative HR team environment Opportunity to work closely with Payroll leadership High-impact role supporting employees across multiple states Stable, onsite position in Findlay, OH
