TESCO - The Eastern Specialty Company, a privately owned manufacturer serving the electric utility industry, is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our HR team in Bristol, PA. In this role, you'll be responsible for accurately and timely processing company payroll and managing day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs across TESCO's U.S. and Canadian locations. You'll ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local wage and hour laws, maintain payroll and benefits records, and serve as a go-to resource for employees with questions about pay, deductions, and benefits. This role works closely with HR and Finance to support accurate recordkeeping, timely reporting, and a positive employee experience. What You'll Do Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time for U.S. and Canadian employees Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations across all jurisdictions Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and COBRA Serve as the primary point of contact for employee pay and benefits questions Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and year-end reporting (W-2s, T4s) Process new hire, termination, and status change information in payroll and benefits systems Support open enrollment communications and deadlines Stay current on payroll, tax, and benefits regulations across all jurisdictions where TESCO operates Assist with payroll, benefits, and workers' compensation audits as needed What You Bring Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience) 3+ years of payroll experience in a multi-location environment Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax withholding, and wage and hour laws (U.S. and Canadian) Familiarity with benefits administration (health, dental, retirement, leave programs) Proficiency with HRIS/payroll platforms (e.g., UKG Ready) and strong Excel skills High attention to detail, especially with sensitive financial and personal data Strong organizational skills to meet strict payroll deadlines Excellent communication skills across all employee levels Ability to maintain confidentiality and sound judgment with sensitive information
