Job Description

Overview The Benefit Administrator position supports the Benefits Department through daily communication with Associates regarding benefit issues and questions, as well as researching benefit eligibility and coverage issues. This role also processes benefit information, creates reports, and audits benefit data. This position requires discipline to work independently and manage time to accomplish all required daily tasks. Responsibilities Research and resolve day-to-day associate service and benefit issues Administer the benefits enrollment process for new hires, rehires and annual enrollment; includes maintaining enrollment modules, reporting and auditing Process benefits enrollments, changes, and life events in the Benefit Admin System (UKG) and master's all processes with New Hire and Open Enrollment Maintain and administer benefit correspondence via email and mailings, such as benefits arrears administration, FSA Plan Year Closings, annual benefit notices, etc. Assist with information for Short- and Long-Term Disability claims with carrier and scan and file related documents Work on projects such as annual Wellness Fair, Flu Shot Day, and other Wellness initiatives 1095-C processes within applicable systems Interacts with HR, Payroll, Leave, and HRIS Departments in providing services for associates Other duties as assigned Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Attention to detail is very important Ability to communicate professionally (written and verbal) Must be able to work independently and work well with others Must be able to maintain confidentiality
