Portland, OR - Hybrid Key Responsibilities Respond to employee and retiree benefit inquiries by phone and email. Assist employees with benefit enrollments, changes, and dependent updates. Support new hire onboarding by providing benefits information and following up on benefit elections. Assist with annual open enrollment activities and benefit communications. Coordinate with insurance carriers, benefit vendors, and third-party administrators as needed. Process and maintain employee benefit records in HR systems. Audit and reconcile benefit eligibility data, payroll deductions, and vendor invoices. Assist with COBRA administration and related communications. Support FSA and HSA administration, including payroll file reconciliations. Maintain accurate records, reports, and spreadsheets related to benefit programs. Assist with accommodations administration, including tracking requests and maintaining documentation. Provide general administrative support for benefits-related projects and activities. Qualifications 3+ years of employee benefits administration experience. Working knowledge of health and welfare benefit plans and benefits administration processes. Experience with benefits eligibility, enrollments, billing, and records management. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience with HRIS systems; SAP experience preferred.
