Come grow with us! EHD is a regional insurance agency helping clients with their Commercial, Personal, Group Benefits, and Risk Management needs. For more than 130 years, we have served our customers, our employees and our communities. We are one of the top 100 independently owned agencies in the country. EHD is seeking a detail-oriented full-time Employee Benefits Marketing Analyst to join our Lancaster based team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience marketing, quoting, and evaluation of employee benefits programs for large group clients and prospects. This position is a key resource to producers, client managers and leadership as the lead for coordinating carrier marketing activities, reviewing underwriting and renewal proposals, preparing client-facing analysis, and supporting strategic recommendations.
General duties:
Coordinate all marketing activities for large group employee benefit clients and prospects. Manage the carrier marketing process from data collection through proposal receipt and final recommendation. Prepare and distribute requests for proposals (RFPs), carrier specifications, census information, claims experience, and supporting documentation.
  • Review carrier quotations and renewal proposals for accuracy, completeness and contract deviations.
  • Collaborate with Producers to develop marketing strategies that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a deep, broad knowledge of medical insurance products, dental/vision plans, ancillary benefits, and worksite voluntary programs.
Required Knowledge, skills and abilities: Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5+ years employee benefits experience preferred. Pennsylvania Accident and Health License required or ability to obtain within established timeframe. Previous experience with employee benefits marketing, underwriting, carrier relations, account management, or financial analysis strongly preferred. Experience with large group health insurance programs preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with agency management systems, CRM platforms, reporting tools, and benefits technology solutions preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail
Working Hours:
This is a hybrid, full-time, salaried position working Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. You must reside within a commutable distance to Lancaster, PA.
