Job Description

Onsite requirement: 3 days/week onsite in Taunton, MA Our household name retail client is seeking a temporary Leave Specialist for administration and communication of all leave of absence (LOA) and workers' compensation claims.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administers Workers' Comp claims and actively communicates with employees and managers to ensure accuracy in reporting of claims, compliance with WC laws and minimization of exposure
  • Administers the tracking of all leaves of absences including notification to employees of appropriate type of leave, benefit payments and PTO suspension
  • Notifies Insurance Company of Worker's Compensation claims data, completes required Insurance Company forms and procedures reports
  • Maintains employees' medical and workers' compensation files.
  • Performs general administrative duties to support the risk insurance procedures
  • Organizes and coordinates Annual Company Training and Back Education Programs
  • Updates and maintains OSHA logs, including yearly posting requirements
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of LOA and Workers' compensation claims experience Pay rate: $45-65/hr Projected duration of assignment: 3 months with the possibility of being converted to a direct hire with benefits Onsite requirement: 3 days/week onsite in
