Position:
Contract W2 (5+ Months) Overview TalentFish is casting a line for an experienced Senior Equity Compensation Administrator . This role will provide critical coverage and continuity for a global Equity Compensation Administration function, with a particular focus on Employee Stock Purchase Plan and long-term incentive operations. The Senior Equity Compensation Administrator Consultant will provide senior-level, hands-on administration and review support across global equity compensation programs. The successful candidate will quickly learn established processes, independently manage time-sensitive work, identify and escalate risks, and collaborate effectively with Equity Administration, Executive Compensation, Payroll, Finance, Legal, SOX, HR, and external service providers. What You Bring 3 - 5 years of direct equity compensation administration experience within a publicly traded company. Hands-on experience administering both an Employee Stock Purchase Plan and long-term incentive programs. Experience with Fidelity PSW (Fidelity Plan Sponsor WebStation) is required. Experience with multiple global equity award types and lifecycle events, including: Restricted stock units Performance stock units Stock options Stock appreciation rights Grants Vesting and release events Exercises Cancellations Terminations Experience supporting executive compensation disclosures, Compensation Discussion and Analysis, or annual proxy preparation. Demonstrated ability to validate and reconcile complex equity-related data. Experience using a stock plan administration platform (Fidelity PSW) is required. Working knowledge of SOX controls, audit evidence, reconciliations, segregation of duties, data privacy, and public-company equity administration requirements. Advanced Excel capabilities, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data comparisons, reconciliations, and complex data-set validation. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, manage concurrent deadlines, and quickly escalate material risks or exceptions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with Payroll, Finance, Legal, HR, SOX, executives, and external vendors. Preferred Qualifications Global equity administration experience, including coordination of international payroll, taxation, reporting, or filing requirements. Experience supporting executives, Section 16 populations, or other highly sensitive equity transactions. Equity Compensation Associate, Certified Equity Professional, or a comparable equity compensation credential. What You'll Do Provide end-to-end operational support for global long-term incentive programs, including grants, vesting and release events, cancellations, exercises, award conversions, and other scheduled or ad hoc transactions. Support the Employee Stock Purchase Plan across enrollment, participant changes, payroll contribution files, purchase preparation and processing, reconciliations, exception management, and post-purchase reporting. Serve as an experienced reviewer and escalation resource for equity transactions, data validations, calculations, payroll files, and participant-impacting corrections. Maintain accurate participant, award, payroll, and HR data within the stock plan administration platform. Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve data integration and recordkeeping issues. Prepare and document monthly, quarterly, and event-based reconciliations. Maintain clear supporting evidence for SOX controls, internal and external audits, and management reviews. Coordinate with Payroll and Finance on taxable events, funding, reporting, accounting support, data validation, and issue resolution for U.S. and international populations. Collaborate with Legal, SOX, Executive Compensation, HR, and external advisors regarding plan compliance, controls, securities and tax considerations, global reporting, and country-specific requirements. Support year-end and annual-cycle activities, including data preparation, grant and vesting readiness, participant reporting, audit requests, tax-related deliverables, and recurring program communications. Prepare and validate equity compensation data, tables, and supporting schedules used in the Compensation Discussion and Analysis and annual proxy statement. Reconcile proxy-related equity data, respond to review questions, and support the timely completion of executive compensation disclosures. Review and update participant communications, FAQs, tax supplements, educational materials, and process documentation. Respond clearly and promptly to escalated employee questions. Monitor critical milestones, dependencies, approvals, and unresolved issues. Communicate status, risks, and recommended actions promptly to process owners and leadership. Follow established segregation-of-duties, access, privacy, and change-control requirements. Identify practical opportunities to strengthen controls, documentation, automation, and operational efficiency while maintaining process stability. Create and maintain handoff notes, issue logs, decision records, and updated procedures to support continuity at the conclusion of the engagement. Compensation and Employment This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. The expected hourly rate for this position is $60 - $73 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
