This role will provide technical and administrative support across health and welfare, retirement, compensation, and employee benefit programs while serving as a resource to employees and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable working with confidential information, and able to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment. Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, COBRA, FSA, EAP, and wellness programs. Administer benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and qualifying life events while maintaining accurate employee data. Assist with the administration of defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans. Apply knowledge of retirement plan regulations, including ERISA, and assist with compliance requirements. Partner with benefit providers, vendors, and external consultants to resolve employee and plan-related issues. Respond to employee and retiree questions regarding health, welfare, retirement, and other total rewards programs. Assist with annual benefits open enrollment, including employee communications, data validation, and system updates. Prepare and reconcile monthly benefit invoices to ensure accurate and timely payment. Support leave-related benefit administration, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leaves of absence. Maintain accurate and confidential benefits documentation, employee records, and electronic files. Support compensation initiatives, including job evaluations, market pricing, salary structures, merit increases, and bonus cycles. Maintain HRIS and benefits administration systems, ensuring data integrity, accurate interfaces, audits, and reporting. Prepare routine and ad hoc reports and analytics related to headcount, eligibility, participation, benefits costs, and compensation. Assist with compensation and benefits surveys, benchmarking initiatives, and data submissions. Support compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FLSA, IRS, and DOL requirements. Assist with audits, regulatory filings, and other compliance-related activities. Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance the employee experience. Serve as a knowledgeable resource to employees and managers by interpreting policies, explaining plan provisions, and resolving complex or unusual inquiries. Provide general administrative and project support to the HR/Total Rewards team as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience supporting compensation, benefits, total rewards, or HR operations; experience within a professional services environment preferred. Working knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and compliance requirements. Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data analysis. Strong attention to detail with excellent data accuracy and reporting skills. Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret policies and explain complex information clearly to employees and managers. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with a high degree of discretion and integrity. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Workday, UKG, ADP, or similar HRIS/benefits platforms. Exposure to leave administration, ACA measurement and reporting, and pay equity analysis. Experience with compensation and benefits benchmarking and market surveys. CCP, CBP, SHRM-CP, PHR, or other relevant professional certification.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
