Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Refunds Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently handle refund processes, provide accurate information to clients, and ensure compliance with policies and coverage guidelines. This role requires strong research, communication, and problem-solving skills to resolve client inquiries across multiple channels.
Primary Responsibilities:
Research insurance policies and coverage information to determine sufficiency and eligibility for refunds. Efficiently manage incoming correspondence across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and live chat. Provide "One Call Resolution" by leveraging available resources and knowledge to efficiently resolve client issues. Deliver accurate, valid, and thorough information in response to lender or borrower questions. Document and update borrower records based on correspondence and refund activity. Monitor and report refund limits and thresholds to ensure compliance with company policies. Review and process refund submissions accurately and efficiently using SharePoint. Quote, issue, and process refunds for CPI (Collateral Protection Insurance) on a scheduled basis.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint or similar systems. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain accuracy under pressure.
