In this vital role, you will manage and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring seamless delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations. Your expertise will help foster a positive employee experience by providing accurate information, supporting benefits enrollment, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive data. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organizational success through effective benefits management and HR systems support. Administer and support employeehealth, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and other company-sponsored benefit programs. Assist employees with new-hire benefit enrollment, annual open enrollment, qualifying life events, and benefit changes. Provide employees with accurate information regarding benefit eligibility, coverage, premiums, and available resources. Process and maintain benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and supporting documentation in applicable HR and benefits systems. Assist employees with FMLA, leaves of absence, Short-Term Disability (STD), and Long-Term Disability (LTD) processes and required documentation. Track employee leaves and follow up on outstanding forms, certifications, return-to-work documentation, and benefit-related deadlines. Coordinate with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, payroll, Human Resources, and other vendors to resolve employee benefit issues. Review benefit deductions and employee information for accuracy and communicate necessary corrections to Payroll or appropriate vendors. Maintain confidential employee benefit records in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements. Assist with benefit-related claims, including life insurance and disability claims, and provide employees or beneficiaries with appropriate forms and instructions. Support the administration of COBRA and benefit continuation/termination processes, as applicable. Assist with employee wellness programs, benefit communications, and other HR-sponsored activities. Prepare reports, maintain benefit tracking spreadsheets, and perform periodic audits to ensure records are accurate and complete. Respond to employee questions professionally and provide timely follow-up on benefit-related concerns. Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling employee medical, personal, and benefits information. Perform other Human Resources and benefits-related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Experience in employee benefits administration or Human Resources preferred. Knowledge of health and welfare benefits, FMLA, disability benefits, and general leave administration preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accurate documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work professionally with employees, management, insurance carriers, and outside vendors. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
