This is an excellent opportunity for a benefits professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys owning the full benefits administration process, including open enrollment, employee communications, vendor partnerships, and compliance support. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits and play a critical role in leading the company's upcoming Open Enrollment season. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Opportunity to convert to a permanent position High-impact role with ownership of Benefits Administration Direct partnership with HR leadership and external brokers Exposure to a multi-state workforce across Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays Key Responsibilities Benefits Administration Administer medical, dental, vision, life, and voluntary benefit programs Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries Manage enrollments, qualifying life events, status changes, and terminations Maintain accurate benefit records and HRIS data Partner with payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate deductions and reporting Support benefits audits, reconciliations, and compliance activities Open Enrollment Leadership Lead annual Open Enrollment planning and execution Coordinate employee communications, enrollment materials, and timelines Partner with benefit brokers and insurance carriers throughout the enrollment process Track participation and ensure timely completion of enrollment requirements Answer employee questions and provide enrollment support Travel to company locations during Open Enrollment to conduct meetings and assist employees Vendor & Carrier Management Serve as the liaison between employees, brokers, and insurance carriers Resolve escalated benefit issues and claims concerns Support implementation of benefit program enhancements Maintain strong partnerships with medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefit providers HR Support Assist with employee relations matters as needed Support HR initiatives, policy administration, and process improvements Cross-train with other HR functions to provide department-wide support Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR matters Required Qualifications 3-5 years of Benefits Administration experience Hands-on Open Enrollment experience Strong knowledge of employee benefits administration and employee communications Experience working directly with brokers and insurance carriers Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and related business applications Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a multi-state workforce Experience with Paylocity, Paycom, or similar HRIS/benefits platforms Oil & Gas industry experience PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, or similar HR certification Bachelor's degree preferred but not required Travel Requirements Approximately 10-15% travel Increased travel during Open Enrollment periods Travel throughout Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama to support employee enrollment activities Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is collaborative, approachable, and service-oriented with a strong sense of ownership. Pay Details:
