Working for a company that invents entire categories and industries means you'll be challenged to creatively apply your deep legal expertise to rare and often unexplored aspects of the law.\\n Apple is seeking a compensation \u0026 benefits attorney with experience in a wide variety of matters, including executive compensation, global employee benefits, compensation, and equity programs. This position will report to the Principal Counsel for Total Rewards Legal within Apple's Corporate \u0026 Compliance Legal Department.\\n Primary responsibility for M\u0026A support on global compensation and benefits, including diligence and integration, for domestic and cross-border transactions. \\nAdvise on executive and broad-based compensation and benefits programs and related corporate governance matters. \\nAssist with the preparation of materials for meetings of the People and Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, proxy and other compensation-related disclosure items. \\nPartner closely with various internal teams on disputes or issues related to our global benefit, compensation and equity programs.\\nCounsel and support internal teams on global compensation and equity programs, including grants and award agreements, general plan administration, global filings and compliance, tax implications, pay equity and transparency, and communications.\\n 5 or more years of experience in global benefits, compensation and/or global equity law.\\nJD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.\\nStrong technical knowledge of relevant U.S. federal tax and securities laws (IRC, '33 and '34 Acts, Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank, ERISA) and general familiarity with applicable foreign laws related to compensation, benefit and/or equity plans in non-US jurisdictions. \\n Able to provide practical legal advice with regard to a wide variety of issues that arise in the context of global total rewards programs. \\nHas a demonstrated ability to quickly identify, analyze and propose practical solutions to legal and business issues and lead projects to successful implementation.\\nCollaborative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.\\nSelf-starter who takes ownership, exercises sound judgment, and maintains attention to detail.\\nCreative thinker who thrives on developing innovative, practical solutions to new challenges.\\nLitigation and dispute experience is welcome but not required.\\n
