Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO Clear growth path: Senior Account Manager ▸ Team Lead ▸ Department Manager What you'll do Manage a book of small business health insurance accounts (2-50 employees) Handle annual renewals: prepare proposals, review options, and guide clients through plan decisions Process employee enrollments, terminations, and dependent changes accurately and on time Assist with quoting new small group prospects and comparing carrier options Serve as the primary point of contact for client questions, billing issues, and coverage clarifications Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve service and enrollment issues Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal tracking systems Ensure all work meets compliance and documentation standards What you bring CA Life & Health license (or ability to obtain within 45 days—agency pays costs) Experience handling employee enrollments, renewals, or benefits administration strongly preferred 1+ year in employee benefits, health insurance, HR, payroll, or account management preferred High attention to detail—you catch errors before they become problems Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines Clear, professional communication (phone and email) Comfortable working with systems, spreadsheets, and structured workflows Mandarin-speaking strongly preferred (serves a portion of our client base) High school diploma required; bachelor's or equivalent experience welcomed Schedule & location Monday-Friday, 9 am-5:30 pm On-site at our Walnut office (team collaboration & client support) No cold calling; minimal outside meetings Important This role is detail-intensive and process-driven.
