  • Employee Benefits Account Manager supports the service and retention of employee benefits clients by assisting with day-to-day account management activities, client communication, enrollment processing, and benefits administration.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior insurance experience who is looking to grow their career in employee benefits consulting. Working closely with Senior Account Managers and Account Executives, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional client service while learning the group benefits industry. Key Responsibilities Support a portfolio of employee benefits clients under the guidance of senior team members. Respond to client and employee inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, and coverage. Assist with enrollments, terminations, and employee benefit changes. Support open enrollment preparation, setup, and execution. Process service requests including ID card requests, billing inquiries, and basic claims issues. Maintain accurate client records and documentation. Utilize Employee Navigator for eligibility and benefits administration. Track client communications, activities, and tasks within Salesforce. Assist with renewal preparation, reporting, and data validation. Support compliance communications and documentation using agency tools. Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery. Qualifications 1-3 years of insurance experience (individual, Medicare, or related field). Basic understanding of health insurance products and terminology. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Active 215 Life & Health License preferred (or willingness to obtain). Experience with employee benefits, Employee Navigator, Salesforce, or similar systems is a plus. Self-starter who is eager to learn and grow within the employee benefits industry.
