Educational Assistance Program How You'll Contribute:
Provides day‑to‑day leadership for pharmacy operations, including workflow prioritization, problem‑solving, decision‑making, delegation, and team coordination. Ensures safe, high‑quality pharmacy services and compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards (local/state/federal, ASHP, USP, ISMP, OSHA, Department of Public Health). Maintains efficient department operations by overseeing staffing levels, scheduling, productivity, and cost‑effective use of supplies. Monitors clinical and operational performance, identifies risks, and leads quality and medication‑safety improvement initiatives. Supports site and system goals by implementing policies, collaborating with interdisciplinary partners, and resolving operational issues. Ensures delivery of required clinical and operational pharmacy services and evaluates the effectiveness of departmental programs. Identifies opportunities for new or enhanced services through evaluation, innovation, and continuous improvement. Performs full scope of human resources responsibilities, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, staff development, corrective actions, and morale-building. Develops and manages operating and capital budgets, ensuring expenditures align with approved objectives. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of pharmacy practice, reimbursement, clinical workflows, and healthcare trends. Uses strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills to work effectively with providers, staff, and patients. Utilizes pharmacy automation, point‑of‑sale tools, and intermediate computer skills to support department operations. Ensures personal and team compliance with the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and all applicable policies, regulations, and laws.
What We Are Looking For:
Pharmacist license issued by the state in which the team member practices. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy. At least one year of acute care experience At least one year of leadership experience
