GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
The Director of the Framingham Early College Program is responsible for leading and managing Framingham's Early College Program. The Early College Program, as part of the University's Division of Student Success, works in collaboration and partnership with a team of faculty members from Framingham State and its early college partner schools to provide select college courses to high school students. This position has responsibility for managing, scheduling, and staffing the Early College Program as well as managing and sustaining complex and dependable relationships with partner schools.SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Provide oversight and total program administration for Early College Program, and advance the goals of Framingham State University in its efforts to advance post-secondary attainment. Maintain strategic partnerships through MOUs with partner districts (currently: Milford, Framingham, and Waltham) . Collaborate with partner districts to understand their needs and to assist where possible with college attainment information and support services and education. Coordinate with academic leadership at FSU and partner districts on aligning course curriculum with needs of K-12 districts. Oversee, assess, and regularly report on all measurable outcomes and impacts, and complete metrics tracking for Early College Program. Responsible, in collaboration with academic department chairs/program coordinators, for staffing courses with adjunct faculty. Connect early college participants and their families to college attainment information and resources. Develop and monitor annual budgets. Be knowledgeable about current program funding and assist in reapplying for funding and seeking new grants for program continuation. Oversee grants and contracts to ensure compliance with funder requirements, regulations, cost accounting principles, and reporting. Communicate with DESE as it pertains to early college; completion of DESE reports, connection to other State Early College Programs, and educators. Accountable for ensuring that equal opportunity, equity, and inclusion are integrally tied to all actions and decisions in areas of responsibility. The work schedule for this role is 24 hours per week. This position primarily works in a traditional office setting on campus and requires travel to partner schools. Hybrid work opportunities may be available in accordance with the University's Staff Telework Guidelines.Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required; a master's degree or higher in an appropriate field is strongly preferred. Sufficient skills and experience to effectively carry out the duties of the role, such as: An understanding of systems, processes, theories, and philosophies at both the K-12 and Higher Education levels. Ability to prioritize and address short term needs while planning for long-term outcomes. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, students, community partners, and educational administrators through rapport building, engagement, advocacy, intentionality, collaboration, and follow through. Innovative, mission-centered, diplomatic, flexible, and community-focused.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills strongly preferred Experience with college access and attainment support programs with responsibility for program planning, budgeting, evaluation, fund raising and staff supervision and community development.Additional Information:
This is a part-time (24 hr/wk), benefits-eligible, exempt position in the Association of Professional Administrators (APA) bargaining unit with a union title of Director. The starting salary range is $56,000-62,000 for 24 hr/wk.
