full-time Our client is looking for a Manager, Compensation and Benefits to lead the administration and continuous improvement of its employee benefits programs while supporting key compensation initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to influence program strategy, manage important vendor relationships, and improve the employee experience through competitive and cost-effective programs. Responsibilities Oversee employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), FSA/HSA, wellness, leaves of absence, and voluntary benefits. Lead annual open enrollment and develop employee benefit communications, presentations, educational materials, and benefit guides. Partner with brokers, consultants, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators to ensure effective administration and service delivery. Evaluate current benefit programs and recommend enhancements based on competitiveness, cost, utilization, and business needs. Design and implement new benefit plans and program improvements. Identify cost-containment opportunities, alternative funding approaches, and process improvements. Assist with benefits budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and vendor invoice reconciliation. Coordinate benefits audits, compliance testing, regulatory reporting, required filings, and associated fees. Maintain compliance with ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and other applicable regulations. Maintain accurate records and data integrity across HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems. Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market trends. Support salary administration, market pricing, merit reviews, incentive administration, and annual compensation planning. Prepare compensation and benefits reports, metrics, and recommendations for leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field. Five to seven years of experience in benefits administration and compensation. Strong knowledge of health, retirement, disability, leave, wellness, and voluntary benefit programs. Experience managing vendors, reviewing benefit proposals and RFPs, and negotiating service agreements. Working knowledge of applicable benefits laws and regulatory requirements. Experience supporting merit reviews, salary planning, incentive administration, and compensation governance. Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate program performance, costs, and market trends. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS platforms, and benefits administration systems. Excellent communication, organizational, project-management, and employee-service skills. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CEBS, or CCP designation is preferred.
