Kansas City, MO 64116 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Workers' Compensation Coordinator to join our team in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate all aspects of workers' compensation claims, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, facilitating communication between employees, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers, and supporting the overall safety and risk management programs. Key Responsibilities Manage and process workers' compensation claims from initial report through resolution. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, supervisors, healthcare providers, and insurance adjusters regarding workers' compensation issues. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of workplace injuries and illnesses in compliance with OSHA and state regulations. Maintain detailed records and documentation related to claims, medical reports, and correspondence. Coordinate return-to-work programs and communicate with medical providers to facilitate employee recovery and reintegration. Assist in investigating workplace accidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent future incidents. Collaborate with Human Resources and Risk Management teams to support safety initiatives and compliance efforts. Prepare reports and analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in workers' compensation administration, claims coordination, or related field. Knowledge of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and claims processes, particularly in Missouri. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
