Job Overview The Hourly Shift Manager role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong managerial skills and a passion for the food and hospitality industry. Duties Lead and manage all aspects of the operation, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions. Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team performance and service quality. Oversee food preparation processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining quality standards. Foster a positive work environment through team management and motivation strategies. Handle shift management duties, ensuring adequate staffing levels and smooth operations during peak times. Collaborate with the assistant manager to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. Maintain high standards of food handling practices to ensure guest satisfaction and safety. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest experience within the hospitality setting. Qualifications Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or food service industry. Strong team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff members. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential. Experience in budgeting and financial management within an operational context. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in hotel operations is a plus but not mandatory.
