Job Description

Excellent opportunity to take the reins of a high-powered HR team and develop and lead them into the future. Our client is continuing to invest in its benefits/HR operations division and is searching for a leader who wants to own the day-to-day process, develop a talented team, and become a trusted partner for both clients and internal leadership. You'll play an important role in helping build the future of the department while working alongside a respected Director who is committed to mentoring the next generation of company leadership. We're looking for someone who enjoys being visible, collaborating across the business, and building relationships with clients just as much as coaching employees. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to get out from behind their desk, solve problems, make decisions, and have a direct impact on both the client experience and the continued growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for delivering exceptional employee benefits administration and client service. Partner with clients on complex benefits questions while serving as a trusted resource and relationship manager. Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, Client Services, and Operations to improve processes and enhance the overall client experience. Help build the future of the department by developing talent, strengthening procedures, and preparing the team for continued growth. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced benefits, payroll, or HR professional who enjoys leading people but still wants to stay connected to the work. The company is growing quickly, creating a clear path for someone who wants to continue expanding their leadership responsibilities and ultimately step into a director-level role someday. You'll work closely with an exceptional leadership team that values initiative, encourages new ideas, and gives its managers the autonomy to make meaningful decisions. The culture is one of the biggest reasons people stay here. The office is collaborative, fast-paced, and full of people who genuinely enjoy working together. Leadership believes the best ideas come from engaged employees, which is why this is an in-office environment where relationships are built, wins are celebrated, and teammates are always willing to jump in and help.
