The Director of Physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Compensation and Recruitment provides enterprise-level strategic leadership and operational oversight for the design, implementation, governance, and ongoing administration of compensation and recruitment programs for employed and contracted physicians and advanced practice providers. This role ensures compensation arrangements are market competitive, financially sustainable, and consistently compliant with organizational compensation plans, fair market value (FMV), commercial reasonableness (CR), and applicable federal and state regulatory requirements. The Director serves as a key risk and financial steward for provider compensation arrangements that represent a significant organizational investment , partnering closely with physician leadership, legal, compliance, finance, and human resources to support recruitment, retention, performance, and long-term workforce sustainability while mitigating regulatory, financial, and reputational risk. Education Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in health or hospital administration/business administration or related field preferred Experience Minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in physician compensation, provider recruitment, healthcare finance, or a related discipline. Demonstrated expertise in physician and APP compensation models, FMV, and commercial reasonableness within complex healthcare organizations. Strong working knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements impacting provider compensation. Proven ability to lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives in a highly regulated and financially complex environment. Pay Range:
