Your Role:
You will oversee the day-to-day administration of all employee benefits across the United States and Canada. In partnership with the Benefits and Recruiting Operations Team Leader, you will regularly assess our benefit offerings to ensure they remain competitive, sustainable, and aligned with our overall strategy. This role is responsible for designing and enhancing benefit programs, analyzing trends and utilization, and educating employees on their options. You will lead communication strategies to support benefit programs, updates, and initiatives. In collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and our benefit vendors, you will stay informed on regulatory and legislative developments, recommending updates to policies and procedures as needed. You will also help maintain strong governance frameworks and internal controls to ensure compliant and effective program delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Operations Benefits administration: Manage the day-day administration of all healthcare, voluntary benefits, 401(k), life and disability, flexible spending, and other benefit programs Leave of absence: Administer leave of absence programs and ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. and Canadian federal and state/provincial leave and accommodation laws
Open Enrollment :
Support the annual open enrollment process, including vendor selection and onboarding, ADP configuration, communications development, reporting and analysis, employee education sessions, and post-enrollment audits.
Projects :
Contribute to benefit-related initiatives such as onsite and virtual health fairs, total rewards statements, flu shot programs, educational videos, and other engagement activities
Team Coaching:
Support and coach team members ensuring high-quality onboarding experience and benefits support for our people Compliance and Reporting Maintain accurate benefit data and plan changes in ADP, including reporting, carrier integrations, and documentation. Continuously evaluate system functionality to improve processes while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and Canadian regulations Utilize benefit vendor platforms for enrollments, changes, and reporting Partner with Accounting, Compliance, and external vendors to implement regulatory updates and changes Education Support the development and delivery of benefits, wellness, and onboarding-related training sessions Partner with our wellness team/ fitness center as a to expand wellness and mental health initiatives Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote wellness programs and resources to our people and families

Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration and strategy - United States and International (Canada)
Systems & Tools:
Experience using ADP, Microsoft Office Suite, and benefit administration platforms
Presenting:
Communication and presentation skills Certifications (preferred, but not required): SHRM or other Benefit Administration certifications
