Flexible / Hybrid / Remote Options Available) Position Overview Ruggiero Insurance Agency, LLC, an affiliate of Ruggiero LLC, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Insurance to lead and expand our insurance division. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all lines of business, including Property & Casualty (P&C), Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Long-Term Care , while driving production, recruiting, and team development. This is a leadership role designed for a proven producer who is ready to scale a platform, build a team, and participate in the long-term growth of a multi-entity financial services firm. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all insurance operations across: Property & Casualty (Commercial & Personal Lines) Life Insurance (Term, Whole, Universal) Disability Insurance Long-Term Care Planning Drive personal production and revenue growth within the insurance division Recruit, train, and mentor insurance agents and producers Develop and implement sales strategies and growth initiatives Oversee pipeline management, client acquisition, and retention strategies Collaborate with affiliated entities (wealth management, consulting, benefits) to maximize cross-selling opportunities Establish carrier relationships and negotiate competitive products and pricing Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements Qualifications Proven production history in: Property & Casualty Insurance Life Insurance Demonstrated success in building and managing a book of business Strong leadership, recruiting, and team-building capabilities Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently Active insurance licenses (P&C and Life required; additional licenses a plus) Strong network of clients and/or referral sources preferred Compensation Structure 1099 Independent Contractor Position No base salary Competitive commission structure based on personal production Override compensation on all producers and employees within the insurance division Significant upside potential tied to division growth and performance Why Join Ruggiero Access to a fully integrated financial services platform : Wealth Management (Ruggiero Investments) Insurance Solutions Employee Benefits Business Consulting & Lending Strong cross-referral ecosystem and internal deal flow Ability to build and lead your own division with institutional support Entrepreneurial environment with unlimited growth potential Back-office support, branding, and infrastructure provided Ideal Candidate Profile This role is best suited for a top-performing producer or insurance leader who wants to: Transition from being "just a producer" to building and leading a division Leverage an existing book of business while expanding into new markets Participate in a scalable, multi-disciplinary financial services platform
