Description:
ColonialWebb is seeking an experienced Compensation Manager to lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation and incentive programs across our Construction, Service, Manufacturing, Industrial, and Corporate teams. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to ensure compensation practices are competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives and operational realities. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical expertise with business acumen and can translate complex compensation data into clear, practical guidance within a fast-paced, project-driven environment. This position plays a critical role in supporting ColonialWebb's ability to attract, retain, and reward top talent while maintaining consistent and scalable compensation practices across the organization.

Competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 Career development and progression 401(k) plan with company match PTO and paid holidays Excellent medical, dental, life, vision and disability benefits Employee Assistance Program Employee referral incentives A day in the life: Develop and maintain ColonialWebb's compensation philosophy, salary structures, pay guidelines, and governance processes Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders to ensure compensation programs support organizational goals and workforce needs Administer salary ranges, job architecture, career paths, and compensation structures across the organization Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, and compensation analyses to support competitive and equitable pay practices Analyze internal equity, pay progression, and pay compression while providing data-driven recommendations Lead annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, and compensation reviews Support the design and administration of incentive, commission, and bonus programs tied to operational, safety, and financial performance Ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining appropriate documentation and controls Develop compensation dashboards, reports, and analytics to support HR and executive leadership decision-making Manage Workday compensation processes and partner with HRIS, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and system effectiveness Collaborate with Benefits and HR teams to benchmark and evaluate total rewards programs and employee benefit offerings Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance compensation processes, tools, and overall program effectiveness You should have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field Minimum of five years of progressive experience in compensation administration, compensation analysis, or a related HR analytics role Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting compensation data, market surveys, and workforce trends Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with HRIS and compensation management systems Working knowledge of compensation regulations, compliance requirements, and compensation best practices Experience supporting compensation programs in construction, mechanical, electrical, or other project-driven industries is preferred Experience supporting multi-location or multi-business unit organizations is preferred Workday Compensation module experience preferred CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification or progress toward certification preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex compensation concepts in a clear and practical manner Strong business acumen, sound judgment, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Apply online: .
