The Director Hospital Benefits will serve as a key Human Resources leader within a regional acute care hospital that provides advanced care throughout Western Maryland and neighboring multi-state communities. As a high-acuity regional referral center with a busy emergency department and strong patient volumes, the organization offers broad clinical services including oncology, wound care, behavioral health, and specialty outpatient programs. As part of a growing health system investing in modernization, expansion, and new service lines, the Director Hospital Benefits will play an integral role in developing innovative benefits strategies that attract, retain, and engage a highly talented workforce.
Reporting to executive leadership, the Director Hospital Benefits will lead and develop a high-performing compensation and benefits team while providing strategic guidance across the organization. This leader will prepare executive- and board-level analytics and recommendations, monitor evolving market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices, oversee health and retirement benefit programs, employee wellbeing initiatives, and leave administration strategies, and collaborate closely with senior leadership on workforce planning, labor cost forecasting, and long-term talent strategies.
