Job Summary A leading flavor and fragrance manufacturing company is seeking a dependable Receiving Clerk for a 1st shift opportunity in Danbury, CT. This role is ideal for candidates with warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or logistics experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong attention to detail and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips Prepare outgoing shipments for postal or commercial carriers Package materials securely to ensure safe transport and delivery Prepare bills of lading and shipping documentation Maintain shipping and receiving records, reports, and database entries Handle materials in compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Perform sampling and process customer return shipments Operate pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts as needed Support warehouse organization and housekeeping activities Assist with transporting raw materials between facilities when required Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Less than 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or related experience preferred Knowledge of shipping procedures and receiving processes Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to complete paperwork, perform data entry, and maintain records accurately Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software Understanding of weights, measures, and inventory handling Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts Preferred Qualifications Forklift experience preferred CDL license is a plus Experience working in a manufacturing or regulated environment is beneficial Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay range: $26•31/hr.
