Job Description

Metro Protection Service is seeking professional, reliable, and motivated Armed Security Officers to join our growing team serving Sarasota and Manatee Counties. We are looking for officers who take pride in their appearance, communicate professionally, and understand that exceptional customer service is just as important as security.
Current Assignments Include:
  • Churches and Synagogues
  • Gated Communities & Mobile Patrol
  • Arcades
  • Special Events
  • Commercial Properties This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into full-time employment as we continue expanding. Starting Pay
  • $21.00 per hour
  • Performance-based increases after successful completion of the probationary period
  • Advancement opportunities for dependable officers who demonstrate leadership and professionalism Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid Florida Class D & G Security Licenses (required)
  • Professional appearance and clean-cut grooming
  • Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Dependable, punctual, and responsive to scheduling
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Availability Requirements Applicants must be available to:
  • Work a minimum of 8 hours per week
  • Work at least one weekend day each week
  • Accept a variety of assignments based on company needs Required Equipment Applicants must already own:
  • Black tactical pants
  • All-black boots or duty shoes
  • Duty belt
  • Level II or Level III retention holster
  • 9mm or .40 caliber duty handgun
  • Body-worn camera Preferred (may be obtained after hire):
  • Ballistic vest We Provide
  • Professional Metro Protection Service uniform polo
  • Company baseball cap
  • Ongoing support and training
