Inclusion Support Specialist-Paid Training Kittitas Interactive Management - 3.6 Yakima, WA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $17.50 - $18.50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Employee assistance program Vision insurance Referral program Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The primary role of the Inclusion Support Specialist is to encourage personal growth through goal-based support as well as providing daily living support to KIM clients in their home and in the community.

This role will strive to motivate and encourage clients toward their goals, reflecting the Residential Service Guidelines.
Shift:
TBD, Part-time and Full-time available Salary $17.50-$18.50 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Help clients with useful emotional and behavioral regulation techniques as outlines in their individual plans. Help clients achieve their personal and program goals and evaluate the goals completions and denials. Assist with client money management such as petty cash, receipts, checkbook and EBT's. Assist clients with daily hygiene as outlined in their individual care plans, including personal care such as brushing teeth, bathing, hair washing, toileting, and more. Administer correct medications to clients and document the activity accordingly, including nurse delegated tasks. Transport clients to and from all activities and appointments and/or arrange transportation services as appropriate. Complete all daily/weekly/monthly forms, reports, and data sheets. Supervise clients' daily activities and living conditions to ensure adequate health and safety. Assist clients with cooking and eating daily meals, and grocery shopping. Certificates, Licenses and Registrations None required Education and Experience High school graduate or equivalent (required) Intermediate experience with supporting living, preferably with individuals developmentally or otherwise disabled adults. Skills and Qualifications Minimum age of 18 years. Criminal background check cleared before working alone unsupervised with the clients. Valid driver's license or State ID. Ability to follow instructions, organize and set priorities. Outstanding communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension. Being able to engage in critical thinking.
