Job Description
Job Description The Admin Assistant II/Employee Concierge is responsible for providing administrative support to the Qavartarvik Customer Lodge. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees, maintaining accurate employee records, and fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture. This position will work onsite at the Qavartarvik Customer Lodge in Bethel, AK. Seeking to hire Bethel residents. Responsibilities Employee Onboarding Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientations. Ensure timely completion of onboarding paperwork and processes. Maintain accurate employee files. Provide support and assistance to new hires during their onboarding period. Coordinate with the shared services Onboarding team to process new hires and onboard all assigned employees. Employee Records Track employee movement on-site. Maintain accurate records of tardiness, callouts, and performance evaluations. Update employee information boards. HR Administration Calendar 90-day performance evaluations. Review Safetrax training for compliance. Coordinate employee engagement surveys and safety initiatives. Assist with employee birthday celebrations and other morale-boosting activities. Recruitment Contact new candidates and schedule interviews Inform recruiting of job offers Other General administrative duties including scheduling appointments, maintaining files, respond to general communications over the phone and/or email and coordinating other general communications to ensure a smooth workflow Perform other administrative tasks as assigned. Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned. Qualifications 2 years of administrative, recruiting, HR or related experience required. Strong organizational and time management skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint . Must be able to type at least 50 wpm. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multi-task. Outspoken/outgoing personality. This contract requires a flu shot be administered pre-hire and annually thereafter. Preferred Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent. A valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy (may be required at other locations).
