COMPANY OVERVIEW
Daedong Door America is a newly established entity (founded in 2026) operating as part of Daedong Door , a global leader in automotive latching and door closure systems. Headquartered in Songdo, Incheon, South Korea, Daedong Door operates a manufacturing footprint that includes an injection molding facility in Incheon, as well as global entities across China, India, Mexico, and the United States.

HR & General Affairs Specialist / Manager (인사총무)
Location:
Cusseta, Alabama, USA (Daedong Door America) The HR & General Affairs Generalist will be responsible for overseeing overall HR operations, payroll and benefits administration, organizational and workforce management, and local labor law compliance. This role plays a critical part in setting up and stabilizing human resource processes for the newly established U.S. entity while facilitating smooth communication between U.S. operations, local authorities, and HQ in Korea.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES HR
Operations & Management (인사 운영 및 관리) Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, attendance, and leave management. Maintain employee personnel records and update HR-related documentation. Payroll & Benefits Administration (급여 및 복리후생) Manage monthly payroll processes and oversee payroll operations. Administer employee benefits, health insurance, and welfare programs. Organizational & Workforce Management (조직 및 인력관리) Draft job postings, conduct candidate interviews, and manage new hires. Monitor headcounts, labor costs, and workforce budgeting. Labor Relations & HR Compliance (노무 및 HR Compliance) Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws and manage internal HR policies. Address employee issues and handle liaison with HQ in Korea and external agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Human Resources (HR).
Language:
Bilingual fluency in Korean and English (required).
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship requirement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(우대사항) Hands-on HR experience in the United States. Prior HR experience within the automotive parts manufacturing industry. Demonstrated experience operating Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS systems. In-depth understanding of U.S. labor laws and HR compliance frameworks.
