Unarmed Security Officer -$18/ hr; Weekly Pay; Part Time

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to incidents effectively, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to observe activities and identify potential security threats. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Provide first aid and CPR when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals in emergency situations. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and reporting it accordingly. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Requirements Valid security certificate or relevant training preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Experience in surveillance operations and familiarity with CCTV systems is advantageous. Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
