Job Description

Job Summary Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a responsible, organized, and bilingual Assistant to the General Manager. This position will provide administrative and operational support to the General Manager and assist with communication among management, employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners. (This is a direct-hire position with the client company. No recruitment, placement, agency, or intermediary fees will be charged to applicants or hired candidates at any stage of the recruitment process.) The successful candidate must be fluent in Chinese and English and able to work effectively in a fast-paced office and manufacturing environment. Recent college graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
  • Provide daily administrative and operational support to the General Manager.
  • Translate documents, emails, notices, reports, and business communications between Chinese and English.
  • Provide verbal interpretation during meetings, interviews, training sessions, and workplace discussions.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, business appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, contracts, and other company documents.
  • Communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Assist with recruitment, employee onboarding, attendance records, and other HR-related duties.
  • Follow up on assignments, projects, and deadlines.
  • Maintain confidential company and employee information.
  • Assist with purchasing, logistics, payroll documentation, and general office administration as needed.
  • Visit production areas and coordinate with different departments when required.
  • Travel to company projects, customer locations, or supplier locations when necessary.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the General Manager. Required Qualifications
  • Fluency in Chinese is required. Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write Chinese professionally.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate accurately between Chinese and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other office software.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Current authorization to work legally in the United States. Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, management, communications, international business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, assistant to a general manager, HR specialist, or office coordinator is preferred but not required.
  • Manufacturing, human resources, logistics, purchasing, or project coordination experience is a plus.
  • Recent graduates with strong communication and organizational skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
