Human Resources & Office Assistant Reports to: Human Resources Manager Position Summary The Human Resources Assistant supports the daily operations of the HR department by handling administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, assisting with payroll and benefits, and serving as a point of contact for employees. This role ensures efficient HR processes and helps maintain compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Key Responsibilities HR Recruiting & Administrative Support Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (e.g., ADP) Manage HR Onboarding cycle Prepare HR documents including offer letters, policies, and employment verifications Ensure all required documents and acknowledgments are completed and filed Compliance & Policies Ensure employees complete required policy acknowledgments Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies Take on projects with enthusiasm and attention to detail Assist with audits and reporting requirements Payroll & Timekeeping Support payroll corrections and employee time-keeping inquiries Ensure Time Off balances are up to date Prepare SPIFF report each week Employee Relations Assist in resolving basic employee concerns and escalate when necessary Support communication between employees, managers, and HR leadership Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and company regulations Benefits Administration Support benefits enrollment and changes Respond to employee questions regarding insurance and benefits Coordinate with benefits providers as needed Qualifications 1-3 years years of HR experience required Familiarity with HR systems (ADP experience a plus) Strong organizational and multitasking skills SHRM Certification preferred Positive attitude and strong desire to learn
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
