Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Recruiter/HR Assistant to lead talent acquisition initiatives within a specialized sector of veterinary medicine. This role is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies that attract highly qualified candidates necessary to support organizational growth.Primary Responsibilities :
Developing and implementing recruitment strategies and proactively sourcing qualified potential candidates that possess our core values Collaborating with Practice Managers and the Director of Human Resources to determine hospital needs, develop long-term hiring plans, and set recruitment goals The creation of employment ads and monitoring of specialized job boards and professional networks Attendance at conferences and other industry events as a part of recruitment efforts Participation in the full recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, selecting, and helping to on-board candidates Coordinating with the Social Media Manager to create posts for open positions Supporting Office Managers in the hiring of support staff for all hospital locations Assisting with benefit administrationQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience 1+ years of experience in hiring/recruitment. Experience in recruiting within a highly specialized industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of employment law Ability to build and maintain strong relationships Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a teamBenefits :
