Human Resource Safety Coordinator Career Strategies City of Industry, CA Job Details Full-time $21 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching 403(b) Life insurance Qualifications Teamwork Incident management Public speaking Continuous improvement Root cause analysis Full Job Description Job Functions Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety policies, programs, and procedures in compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct safety inspections, audits, and workplace assessments to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and ensure compliance with safety requirements. Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses; determine root causes; recommend corrective actions; and maintain related records and reports. Provide and coordinate employee safety training, including OSHA requirements, PPE use, safe work practices, and equipment operation. Partner with management to address safety concerns, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend continuous improvements to reduce workplace risks. Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure safety procedures are followed and corrective actions are implemented as needed. Maintain safety documentation, training records, incident logs, and compliance reports. Assist with day-to-day Human Resources functions, including employee relations, policy administration, and employee support. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and company practices. Properly handle employee complaints and grievances and communicate concerns to Human Resources leadership and management as appropriate. Provide clerical and administrative support to HR and management as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, company, and organizational information and ensure appropriate data security practices are followed. Demonstrate the ability to work independently while maintaining a strong commitment to teamwork, accountability, and follow-through. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities. Demonstrate leadership skills, including the ability to influence, motivate, coach, and provide constructive feedback to employees and management. #
