Our mission is to support individuals and families on their journey to parenthood in a supportive and inclusive environment. We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic HR Assistant to join our team and support our most valuable asset—our employees. Position Summary We are looking for a highly organized and proactive HR Assistant to support daily HR operations. This role is critical in fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be proficient in ADP and possess exceptional employee relations skills to serve as a trusted resource for our staff. You will be the first point of contact for employee inquiries and play a key role in maintaining a supportive, compliant, and efficient work environment .
Key Responsibilities HRIS & Administrative Support:
Manage and maintain accurate employee records within ADP , including new hires, terminations, status changes, and data entry . Process payroll-related tasks and generate reports from ADP as needed. Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process: post job ads, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate communication with candidates . Facilitate the new hire onboarding process, including preparing documentation and coordinating orientation sessions . Employee Relations (Core Focus): Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and payroll, ensuring timely and accurate responses . Assist in documenting and addressing employee relations matters, maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism . Support the HR team in fostering a positive workplace culture, including assisting with employee engagement initiatives and events . Maintain a high degree of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information, especially concerning patient and employee confidentiality (HIPAA) .
Compliance & Administration:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations . Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries regarding benefits plans . Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, correspondence, and meeting scheduling .
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred . 2+ years of experience in an HR or administrative role . Proven proficiency in ADP is required .
Strong employee relations skills:
ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and discretion . Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail . Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost integrity. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred:
Experience in a healthcare or medical setting. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Bilingual in English and Spanish .

From $65,000.00 per year
