Monday- Friday 8-5 Pay rate: $ 25-27 based on experience Position Summary We are seeking a temporary HR Support Specialist with a strong background in human resources and exceptional attention to detail. This role requires professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with maturity and care. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technologically proficient, and an effective written and verbal communicator. This position will also assist with special HR-related projects in collaboration with the Executive Director , as assigned. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department Assist with employee onboarding processes, including document preparation and system entry Review, organize, and maintain personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality Draft, review, and edit written communications and HR documents Enter and track data using HR software and internal systems Support special projects assigned by the Executive Director , including document review, compliance tracking, and process improvements Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations Communicate professionally with staff and leadership as needed Required Qualifications Prior experience in Human Resources or HR administrative support Strong reading comprehension and professional writing skills in English Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Experience using HR or onboarding software systems Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, mature, and able to work independently Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting onboarding, personnel records, or compliance documentation Familiarity with nonprofit or public-sector HR environments Core Competencies Attention to detail Confidentiality and professionalism Time management and organization Clear written and verbal communication Strong computer literacy Education Associate's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field OR A combination of relevant education and professional HR experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
