Human Resources (HR) Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Escondido, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring smooth processes and compliance with organizational standards. Responsibilities:

• Handle daily HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and organizing necessary documentation.
• Facilitate the onboarding process by preparing offer letters, scheduling orientations, and ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
• Conduct and manage pre-employment background checks, verifying results and addressing any follow-up requirements with candidates or vendors.
• Coordinate new employee logistics, such as system access setup, equipment requisitions, and first-day arrangements.
• Maintain accurate and compliant HR files while safeguarding confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
• Provide assistance to the HR team by responding to employee inquiries and supporting various HR-related projects.
• Ensure proper documentation and tracking for HR activities to support organizational goals and audits.
• Collaborate with team members to improve HR processes and enhance employee experiences.
