Job Description

Come join our team! We are hiring a full-time Human Resources Coordinator. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and passionate team and be part of a company that stands out in the community. We are looking for an individual with at least one year of Human Resources experience, preferably with experience working in a care-providing industry.
Primary duties include:
  • Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding all new Home Care Aides.
  • Oversee employees health and supplemental insurance eligibility and enrollment
  • Oversee IIPP and Workers Comp programs
  • Respond to internal and external Human Resources-related inquiries or requests.
  • Process employee separations and leaves of absence.
  • Provide additional training for employees regarding violations of company policy or procedure; assist Supervisor(s) with corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain all personnel files, paper and electronic, in compliance with state, federal and company policies and regulations.
  • Ensure all employees are current on the State of California HCA Registry. Maintain a positive working relationship with the governing agencies.
  • Prepare for and attend community functions for recruitment and marketing purposes. This may require working outside of a typical work schedule.
  • Maintain current and pertinent knowledge of labor law and labor law cases.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; degree or certification in Human Resources preferred.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources processes and best practices.
  • Understanding and abidance of HIPAA.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) applications. Willingness to learn scheduling software programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with a minimal direction and/or supervision.
  • Ability to generate goodwill for the Agency with clients, their family members and referral sources. Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service excellence.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation.
