Driver's License Bachelor's degree Team management Human resources HRIS Clinical confidentiality policies Full Job Description Summary The Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource process at all business locations. This role oversees hiring, job posting, administrative generalists, and other Human Resources duties and acts as liaison between employees and relevant service providers such as insurance companies. This position resolves benefits-related problems, facilitates positive employee relations, and makes certain that federal, state, and local regulations are followed. The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, correspondence with employees and third-party entities, and HRIS. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and deductions Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files Submit online investigation requests and assists with new employee background checks Reconcile benefits statements Audit or assist with audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommend corrective action Assists with processing of terminations Assists with the preparation, collection, and filing of employee performance reviews Assists with recruitment, interview, and on-boarding including setup in HRIS Schedule meetings and interviews as required for the function of essential duties including investigative meetings and inquiries File documents into appropriate digital folders and employee files Perform other related duties as assigned Post, remove, refresh, and update job postings on various internal and external job listing sites and programs Respond to requests for additional information on a job posting, benefits, or general inquiries Respond to requests for employment verification or background checks from external agencies/entities Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, scheduling, etc.) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience Experience prioritizing and multitasking Meeting deadlines and working independently and as a team player is required. Ability to employ discretion and confidentiality in sensitive areas (i.e., HIPAA compliance) Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Ability to function in a fast paced and at times stressful environments Effective HR administration and people management skills and meticulous attention to detail Additional Information This position has supervisory responsibilities over a team of staff spread out across various regions of Northern California. Infrequent travel in a company vehicle may be required and possession of a valid driver's license is strongly desired. Candidate must be insurable through our insurance provider.
