Position Overview:
The HR Coordinator demonstrates Service With Knowledge® by supporting daily human resources, payroll, and front office operations. This role serves as a key resource for employees, applicants, and visitors while supporting timekeeping, payroll preparation, employee records management, onboarding, benefits administration, and exceptional customer service. The position requires professionalism, attention to detail, confidentiality, and a commitment to supporting employees and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees employee timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll input preparation to support timely and accurate payroll processing. Serves as the primary contact for employee questions regarding Paycom, timecards, pay, benefits, and HR-related processes. Maintains employee records and HRIS data, including new hire, transfer, and termination updates. Assists with leave administration, PTO tracking, and compliance-related documentation. Supports benefits enrollment activities, employee benefit changes, and annual open enrollment. Coordinates recruiting and onboarding activities, including interview scheduling, new hire paperwork, orientation, and onboarding compliance. Provides front desk support by greeting visitors, managing calls, handling mail, and maintaining office supplies. Coordinates employee engagement programs, recognition events, training logistics, and general administrative support. Maintains confidentiality and supports compliance with company policies, employment laws, and record retention requirements. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of HR, payroll, administrative, or related experience required. Experience with HRIS or timekeeping systems, preferably Paycom. Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information. Work Environment Primarily office-based environment with occasional interaction in manufacturing and warehouse areas. Frequent computer use, data entry, phone communication, walking throughout the facility, and light lifting up to 20 pounds. Must follow all company safety policies and applicable workplace safety requirements.
