Job Description

Description We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations for a healthcare organization in California. This Contract position is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of experience who can balance payroll support, benefits coordination, onboarding, and administrative responsibilities in a structured environment. The role also contributes to compliance efforts and general corporate support while helping maintain accurate employee records and HR processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Enter and maintain payroll-related information in ADP Workforce Now while supporting the Payroll Specialist with timely and accurate updates.
  • Administer employee benefits activities, including enrollment processing for new employees and coordination of related documentation.
  • Provide onboarding support by helping complete pre-employment steps such as background checks, onboarding paperwork, and system record setup.
  • Assist with recruiting tasks as needed, including coordination of staffing logistics in a low-turnover setting.
  • Review and update employee handbook content and monitor HR compliance requirements to support policy accuracy and regulatory adherence.
  • Manage telecom-related administration and contribute to broader office and operational support activities.
  • Help prepare annual insurance manual revisions in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Support the completion of yearly property tax exemption documentation and other recurring corporate administrative requirements.
  • Coordinate general HR and administrative functions to promote smooth daily operations across the organization. Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources coordination, HR administration, or a closely related support role.
  • Working knowledge of onboarding processes, employee records management, and screening coordination.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms, including ADP for payroll or HR data entry tasks.
  • Understanding of HR compliance practices and the ability to maintain accurate, confidential documentation.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and new employee enrollment procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities effectively.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and a dependable, detail-focused work style.
