About our Company Palmaz Vineyards is a family-owned historic vineyard and winery cave producing exclusive small production Cabernet Sauvignon. This dynamic family-run business is most known for its unique winery cave system where the entire winery operation is based inside of Mount George. The family place a strong emphasis on the culture of food and wine, bringing people together around the table. Job Summary We are looking for a full-time Bilingual HR Assistant/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This Bilingual HR Assistant/Administrative Assistant role is ideal for someone who has some previous HR experience and is willing to learn and grow with the company. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be an excellent multi-tasker, have strong organizational skills, strong leadership skills and be able to prioritize their workday. In this position you will work closely with the HR Manger and the owners of the winery. This is "confidential" position and you must be able to maintain confidentially of all information. This position will help maintain a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
Coordinate onboarding for both English and Spanish speaking employees and ensure employees have a smooth transition and well supported start. First point of contact for employee questions Coordinate trainings in both English and Spanish Maintain accurate sick and vacation leave in Paylocity. Assist with bi-weekly timecard audits Handle workers comp claims and assist with audits Payroll processing back up Must maintain all break room bulletin boards with current labor law information. Support recruitment efforts, including drafting job descriptions, posting roles, reviewing resumes and conducting initial screen calls. Help administer employee benefits programs, including benefits enrollment, benefits administration, and answering routine employee inquiries related to payroll (Paylocity), workers' compensation, and leave policies such as FMLA. Support compliance with employment laws (including OSHA regulations) by maintaining documentation related to contracts, labor law adherence. Experience handling confidential information with integrity Conflict resolution skills Process all orders for multiple departments Work closely with department heads to assist with their needs. Open, distribute and scan all mail - confidential Work closely with the Palmaz Family on special projects and events and perform other duties as requested by management.
Pay:
$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
