Job Overview The primary focus and responsibility for the Human Resources (HR) Coordinator is to provide administrative and operational support across HR functions including HRIS maintenance, recruiting coordination, onboarding, payroll data entry, and employee record management. This role works closely with the HR team and supports multiple locations through accurate data entry, reporting, and process coordination. Key Responsibilities HRIS & Employee Data Management Maintain accuracy and integrity of HRIS and employee data, including job changes, terminations, and benefits updates Run reports to identify missing or incomplete employee or compensation data Ensure compensation data aligns with approved documentation Maintain employee records and ensure consistency across systems Payroll Support Support payroll-related updates through accurate data entry and system updates Maintain up-to-date employee records across HRIS and payroll system Assist with payroll documentation and data validation as needed Recruiting & Onboarding Assist recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, tracking applicants, and sending resumes to hiring managers Coordinate pre-employment drug testing and background checks Support onboarding and orientation, including paperwork and HRIS setup Prepare new hire and termination documentation Benefits & Employee Support Assist employees with benefits-related questions and support enrollment activities Provide administrative support for HR-related inquiries as part of a shared HR team function Support benefits administration and documentation tracking Leave, Compliance & Workers' Compensation Initiate leave of absence requests through vendor and ensure cases are properly opened Track LOA status through vendor communication and maintain internal logs Direct employee and manager questions when appropriate and escalate issues as needed Monitor workers' compensation activity via vendor systems, maintain internal logs, and flag updates to HR leadership Assist with compliance reporting and documentation (ACA, EEO-1, unemployment claims, audits) General HR Support Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist with HR-related tasks as assigned Support organization of HR records for corporate and field locations Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and HR initiatives Run reports to identify missing or incomplete employee or compensation data Ensure compensation data aligns with approved documentation Maintain employee records and ensure consistency across systems Qualification and Experience 1-3 years of experience in HR, administrative, or payroll support roles preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; additional HR-related education preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support team needs Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-state environment High degree of professional integrity and accountability, with the ability to maintain confidentiality Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus Application Processs Submit your resume and a cover letter highlighting your relevant HR and payroll experience.
