Job Description

Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring an HR Admin Assistant in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. As a HR Admin Assistant, you will:
Onboarding & Orientation:
Lead new hire orientations to welcome incoming talent and ensure all Day 1 requirements and documentation are completed.
Safety & Workers' Comp:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for injury reporting and workplace incidents.
Manage the workers' compensation process, including filing claims promptly with insurance carriers and maintaining detailed records. Coordinate with healthcare providers and the HR Manager to facilitate successful return-to-work plans.
Payroll & Timekeeping Support:
  • Troubleshoot timekeeping system errors and assist employees with technical issues.
Audit and resolve all payroll discrepancies to ensure the cycle is ready for timely processing.
Compliance & Record Keeping:
Maintain and audit digital and physical employee files to ensure 100% accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Employee Relations:
Serve as the onsite "go-to" for employee questions regarding policies and benefits; escalate sensitive concerns to the HR Manager as needed.
Staffing Liaison:
Act as the bridge between our partner staffing agencies and internal department managers to coordinate temporary labor needs.
Managerial Support:
Assist leadership with technical requests, reporting, and navigating internal HR systems. This is a full-time opportunity

  • 6:30pm The Ideal candidate will have:
Experience:
1+ years in an HR administrative role, specifically handling workers' compensation claims and injury reporting.
Software Proficiency:
  • ADP experience is a strong plus.
Strong experience with Google Workspace (Google Business), including Docs, Sheets, and Drive for real-time collaboration and secure file management.
Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion.
Technical Aptitude:
Ability to learn and troubleshoot HRIS and time-tracking software quickly.
Presence:
Must be comfortable working onsite daily to support the workforce in real-time. Must be bilingual English/Spanish Must meet Pre-employment Background check requirements
Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour
  • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
