Compensation:
$23/hour + Mileage Reimbursement (per official rate) About the Role This position plays a vital role in supporting underprivileged individuals in the Redlands community by helping them gain employment and access to training opportunities. This position involves guiding clients through resume preparation, interview coaching, and connecting them with local resources and partners. You will also assist with workforce projects benefiting the general population and youth throughout the year. Key Responsibilities Provide workforce support to underprivileged populations, including job search assistance and training guidance. Prepare professional resumes and offer interview coaching. Connect clients with local resources and community partners (e.g., Family Services Association, Step-Up, shelters, City of Redlands Homeless Solutions). Participate in and support various workforce development projects for the general population and youth. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress. Attend meetings and outreach events as needed.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; extroverted and outspoken. High level of compassion, assertiveness, patience, and time management. Proficiency in MS Office, Internet research, and general computer use.
Requirements:
Must have a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel locally for meetings and client visits.
Nice to have:
Previous experience in workforce development, outreach, or a similar role as an employee or volunteer
