Ideal Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP licensure in California or eligibility for licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY applicants considered Prior experience working in school settings highly valued Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a compassionate approach
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the school environment Provide direct therapy, track progress, and adjust interventions as needed Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to support each student's success Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district policies Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to student support plans
