Job Description

The Human Resource Assistant ($24.00 to $27.00 Hourly) will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of Quick Quack's Human Resources Department while maintaining the confidentiality of all sensitive information. This person will have a wide range of job duties and responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists with HR auditing and processes and makes suggestions to improve department efficiency. Frequently updates and works within HRIS for the company, demonstrating precise work and confidentiality of all sensitive information. Updates payroll records by entering changes in insurance coverage, benefits deductions, income withholding orders, job title changes, department changes etc. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Assists with answering questions from Team Members relative to payroll, standard policies and procedures, benefits, code of conduct, etc.; escalates more complex questions to appropriate members of the Human Resources Team. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Provides clerical support to the HR department as needed. Assists with payroll functions including creating manual checks, processing, answering employee questions and fixing processing errors. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding for multiple departments. Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team and assist with daily HR operations. Maintain employee personnel files and HR records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies. Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains current books. Conducts or assists with new hire orientation and relative data entry.
