San Bernardino, CA Job Details $60,000 a year 18 hours ago Qualifications Foreign language proficiency Confidential information handling Safety regulations HR legal compliance Bachelor's degree HR compliance Payroll systems (technically supported) Employment law in talent management Full Job Description The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) helps execute all Human Resources processes, including recruiting, hiring, and scheduling training and explaining and enrolling employees in benefits, and both labor and employee relations at the plant level. The HRC ensures compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations and requirements. The employee acts as the site liaison for corporate offices and with the local unions. The ideal candidate has a degree in Human Resources or a related field and at least three years of experience in HR. The ideal candidate must have a strong knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, excellent computer, internet, and HRIS software skills. Strong communication in both English and Spanish is required in addition to interpersonal skills and the ability to preserve confidential information required. Coordinates hiring, and on boarding new employees. Coordinates open enrollment of benefits for the work site. Ensures employee safety, welfare, wellness, and conducts safety meetings at work site assigned. Ensures compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain positive labor relations, working with 2 unions, and business agents. With the HR team, carries out and supports company policies and procedures. Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed. Highly professional and dependable Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite Supervise/train additional HR staff as needed, in the input and or status change on HRIS/payroll system. Maintain accurate reports for staffing, safety, and employee training. Maintains data integrity of all HRIS data entered for location assigned. Manages Workers Comp return to work program for location assigned. Responsible for the Interactive process for all work restrictions and employee integration. Monthly employee celebrations coordination Support and manage employee information data in the plant- PowerPoint, bulletin boards Job Requirements A 4-year degree in HR or related field Bilingual English/Spanish. Must be able tot read, write, and present in English and Spanish. Communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the company. Able to work with confidential information appropriately.
